IPL 2020 FINAL MI vs DC FANTASY 11

It's a Tuesday, the second most boring day of the week. But not for the cricket fans who have had dry period of 6 months without cricket. This year's IPL have been one of the few good things that has happened this year. After all the waiting, the finale is here. It's between table toppers of the league round. It's between MI vs DC. It's between No. 1 and No. 2 . It's Rohit vs Iyer. Well, I can continue to bore you to the death, but I won't. Who would read this amazing blog?! This year Mi has defeated DC in all the three encounter they had between them. While Mi had never lost two matches consecutively, DC had lost 4 matches consecutively. Also Mi have clear physiological advantage in terms of playing IPL finals, DC has never played IPL finals. So Mi has clearly upper hand in this contest. So without wasting time further, let's make a Fantasy 11 for the finals.

Bowlers:- Jasprit bumrah, Rahul chahar/Trent Boult,Ravi Ashwin, Anrich nortje/kagiso rabada.

Well Jasprit bumrah is Jasprit bumrah. A boy who turned heads with his weird bowling action. But from that boy he has become one of the best fast bowler in the world. And given the success he has this season, he's definitely in my Fantasy 11. Many of you might be surprised to see chahar with Boult. The only reason is that Boult injured himself in Mumbai's last match, so he might not play today at all. So it's Boult or chahar. Chahar had very poor day in last match against DC, but given the Mumbai's team management, they will backup chahar for this big match. Both rabada and nortje have been engine of DC bowling line-up this year. But I will go with only one of them, because of their African genes, they might choke in this crucial encounter. Ravi Ashwin has lot of experience in playing IPL's final, but it was for CSK. He will be playing finals first time for DC, and believe me he will be so so crucial for them. 

All-rounders:- Kieron Pollard/Hardik Pandya,Marcus stoinis.

Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya have smashed the leather ruthlessly, whenever they were in mood. So without them there is no Fantasy 11. Plus they've very good record against DC. So expect big innings from one of these players. Stoinis looked comfortable at opening the batting and he also bowled with lot of courage in DC's last match. Stoinis had terrific BBL in 2019 opening the batting. So expect some runs from him today also.

Batsmen:- Rohit Sharma, Quinton decock, Surya Kumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane.

Surya Kumar has been consistent throughout this season, and expect Same from him. Rohit Sharma will be itching to show his class today, as he is known for his batting in difficult matches. I'm very optimistic about Rohit Sharma's big innings today. Decock will be also crucial today for Mumbai's blazing start today. Iyer was seen struggling with bat last match, but expect him to bounce back in this big contest today. With bumrah and Boult having new ball, there will be lot of swing to play for batsmen. And Rahane will be more effective than shikhar Dhawan in negating that early Swing. So Rahane is in my Fantasy 11 instead of dhawan.

Fantasy 11:- Rahane, Rohit, decock, yadav, Iyer, stoinis, Hardik/Pollard, chahar/Boult, bumrah, Ashwin,nortje/rabada.

My choice as a captain would be Rohit Sharma and vice captain would be either Rahane or Iyer.
